This is an excellent accommodation option for our hiking group, and I would highly recommend it. There is also a large well equipped kitchen and hall which we hired separately. The camp has new management who were exceptionally helpful, friendly, and pleasant to interact with. Manager was very rude, yelling across the yard and being a general busy-body whilst perched on his deck watching us the whole time. Accommodation is average- Watch out for nails sticking up on the deck and chairs, Leaking taps, windows that won't open or close properly and so many cars coming and going to the manager's house, the marae and the church on the same property. Keep a close eye on your kids because none of the cars drive slowly or are watching out for the little ones.
